Start with the application

A fuel shortlist for the way you cook

These are starting points for evaluation, not universal performance guarantees. Share your equipment, desired size and service requirements so we can discuss the relevant grade and sample.

BBQ · charcoal chicken · rotisserie

Mangrove-led hardwood options

Start with Mangrove charcoal for a bulk BBQ enquiry. Compare lump size, fines tolerance, ash and useful heat in your own grill. Eucalyptus and Khaya offer additional hardwood options to evaluate.

Yakitori · robata · fine dining

Binchotan white charcoal

Discuss white-charcoal grading for concentrated grilling heat. Compare Eucalyptus, Maitiew and Lychee/Longan samples for dimensions, handling and behavior in the intended equipment.

Repeatable formats · bulk distribution

Briquettes matched to your setup

Explore sawdust or coconut-shell briquettes when a defined shape and packing format matter. Confirm formulation, dimensions and trial results; raw coconut-shell charcoal is not interchangeable with a finished briquette.

Steakhouses · open-fire grilling

Compare the heat profile

Shortlist hardwood lump charcoal or Binchotan around your equipment and service routine. Agree a practical sample trial rather than assuming a fixed burn time or identical heat from every grade.

Pizza · wood-fired equipment

Specify firewood separately

For equipment designed for wood fuel, discuss wood type, dimensions, moisture target and drying method. Confirm the oven manufacturer's permitted fuels; do not assume charcoal briquettes can replace firewood.

Restaurant chains · local distributors

Build a repeat-order specification

Turn sample approval into agreed grading, packing and inspection criteria. Discuss branded bags or cartons, expected demand and destination documentation before confirming the order.

Use charcoal only in equipment designed for it and follow its safety instructions and applicable rules. This page is a product-selection guide, not approval to use charcoal in an enclosed space or unsuitable kitchen.

What KAOLA helps you resolve

From a broad enquiry to a clear buying decision

Product fit

Discuss your cooking application, equipment, size range and performance priorities. Compare suitable options without borrowing specifications from another charcoal type.

Sample & quality review

Identify the proposed sample, available reports and buyer testing. Agree the scope of any additional inspection and what the order must meet.

Packing & export planning

Review net weight, bag or carton format, private-label artwork, quantity and destination. Confirm document responsibilities, production timing and commercial terms in the offer.

Real products, people and production context

KAOLA was established in 2014 and has confirmed export experience with Australia and Taiwan. Buyers can discuss a B2B factory visit with the CharcoalKaola Team and review relevant samples and available records.

Our published Vinacontrol report 23G15THQ02472-01 covers a submitted White Eucalyptus Charcoal sample. It is product-specific evidence—not a certification or a guarantee for every charcoal or shipment.

Before you enquire

Questions from restaurant and foodservice buyers

Can a restaurant group enquire directly, or is this only for distributors?

Both restaurant groups and foodservice importers or distributors can discuss their requirements with KAOLA. Send the expected volume and destination so we can review whether a proposed supply arrangement is practical. This is a B2B enquiry page, not a local retail delivery offer.

Can I request a sample or trial quantity first?

Yes, you can enquire about a representative sample or trial. Availability, quantity, packing and shipping costs are confirmed case by case. Use the sample-enquiry email or WhatsApp links below; there is no need to select a container quantity just to ask about a sample.

How are MOQ, container weight and delivery timing confirmed?

Bulk export enquiries commonly involve container orders, but the accepted quantity depends on product and packing. Confirm MOQ, payload, production, packing and loading in the quotation. Sea-freight transit time depends on destination, vessel schedule, transshipment and clearance; no universal arrival date is promised.

Can you pack charcoal under our brand?

Discuss bag or carton format, net weight, artwork and distribution requirements. Private-label feasibility, packaging minimum quantities and costs are confirmed before the order is accepted.

Which technical reports and export documents can you provide?

Availability and requirements are checked for the actual product, destination and shipment. Commercial records, origin evidence, safety information and testing serve different purposes. A historical report applies to its identified sample; no universal complete certificate pack or customs-clearance guarantee is offered.

Is Mangrove always better than Binchotan or briquettes?

No single charcoal is best for every kitchen. Select around the equipment, application, grading and sample results. Mangrove is a priority BBQ option to discuss; Binchotan, other hardwoods and briquettes remain separate choices with their own specifications.
