Shisha charcoal and Binchotan are different product categories. Based on KAOLA’s export experience, shisha buyers request coconut-shell charcoal briquettes in cube or round formats. KAOLA does not offer or recommend its Binchotan range as shisha charcoal.

Coconut-shell briquettes are the relevant shisha product
Shisha procurement commonly focuses on purpose-made coconut-shell briquettes rather than white wood charcoal. Cube and round formats must be specified by the buyer according to the intended equipment and market. Shape alone does not prove composition or quality.
Hookah manufacturer Kaloud describes its Aura charcoal as coconut-shell charcoal, and its FAQ discusses natural coconut charcoal cubes. These examples identify the product category; they are not evidence about KAOLA’s own specifications.
KAOLA Binchotan is for grilling, not shisha
KAOLA’s Eucalyptus Binchotan is white wood charcoal supplied for cooking and restaurant grilling applications. KAOLA does not classify it as shisha fuel.
Do not transfer Binchotan test figures to coconut-shell briquettes. White Eucalyptus ash, fixed-carbon and calorific-value results describe that identified sample, not a shisha product. Low ash or high carbon alone does not establish suitability for hookah equipment.
For cooking applications, see charcoal for restaurants. For shisha inquiries, identify coconut-shell briquettes explicitly.
What shisha wholesale buyers should specify
- Coconut-shell raw material and the proposed briquette formulation.
- Cube or round shape, dimensions and acceptable tolerances.
- Representative sample and equipment compatibility.
- Agreed ash, moisture, strength and heat-performance requirements.
- Loose dust, breakage and packing acceptance criteria.
- Retail or bulk packaging, net weight and destination labeling.
No universal ash percentage, burn duration or odorless guarantee is stated here. Any technical figure must be supported by the relevant coconut-shell product sample, applicable test report or agreed batch specification.
Safety: burning charcoal releases carbon monoxide. Never burn charcoal in enclosed spaces. Follow the equipment manufacturer’s instructions and applicable safety requirements; low ash does not make smoking or charcoal use safe.
Confirm KAOLA availability before placing an order
Send KAOLA the requested coconut-shell briquette format, quantity, packing, destination country and port. Product availability, sample arrangements, testing, formulation, documents and production scheduling must be confirmed during quotation.
KAOLA’s White Charcoal kiln count and production capacity must not be used as coconut-shell shisha capacity. Review coconut-shell charcoal information, wholesale supply and export packaging guidance.
